Op Art 2

*No picture posted online of this project*
This project was really cool. I liked this a lot and it looked awesome when I finished! The color scheme I chose was pink and purple. Each time I hit a line, I'd switch colors and it turned out really nice. I enjoyed it a lot. The only thing I didnt like was that my pink marker ran out pretty much right after I started my project so I had to color all of my purple first and then go get a new marker and it looked really dumb without another color, but once I got the pink marker and finished it looked amazing and even better than I expected. If I ever did this project again, I'd make sure that my markers work and will last throughout the whole project! But overall I liked this project a lot and I liked the outcome of my piece of art.

For this project we were allowed one partner and my partner was Taylor Smith. I had to think hard about what we were going to do for this project until it hit me to do a Nike Swoosh and I knew that was the perfect idea. I was very pleased with our project and It was one of my favorites to create. We used cardboard, a lot of tape that would not stay, black paint to cover the cardboard, and sparkles to top it all off. The outcome of our project was phenominal to me. I loved it, it was everything I thought it would be and with our artistic abilities together we did it. The only thing I would go back and redo about this project would be to make it bigger! The size was medium but if I did it again I'd want it big!!

Op Art 1

This project was interesting and I had to use a lot of creativity to draw this. I got stumped a few times because I didn't really know what patterns to draw or what to shade. I had some fun with this project just doing my own thing and I really liked how it was all black and white, it makes it look really cool. If I were to do this over again, the only thing i would change is the circles all around, I wouldn't put circles, I'd do a different design that would start inside the circle and come out. But I really liked drawing this project it was a lot of fun and let me go out on a limb with my creativity.

Magazine Reflection

This project was pretty fun to draw. I liked how half of the picture is actually from the magazine and the other half is my own drawing. The only difficult part of this project were the words at the bottom and on the little jar. It was hard to match up the same font, but I think I managed to do so. If I were to go back and redo this project, I would cut out more pieces that were smaller than the ones I cut out that way it'd be a little easier and more of a variety to draw. All in all, this was a fun project and I'd love to do it again.

Water Color

When we were first introduced to this project, I was just overwelmed and didnt know how it'd be possible to get all the detail in with water colors. But I soon came to find out that it depends on the size of the brush used. I started painting the middle flower and it was terrible. I smeared colors all over and was stressed. So I restarted and took my time, giving it a lot of detail and the middle flower turned out to be my favorite. The first flower was my second favorite. I tried doing some shading on the petals to make it obvious that it was a flower, and I think I did a pretty decent job of that. The last one was a mess. It looked really great until I did the background and it made the petals look dead. But, all in all I really enjoyed this project even though my last one was a little messed up, my other ones make up for it! If I were to go back and redo this project, I would pick lighter colors for all of the backgrounds and not a dark one like I did in the last picture. And I would also be a little more patient and let the paint dry before trying to paint over it and making it look like a mess.

Character Skeleton

This was by far my favorite project all year! I loved drawing this character. It was a little difficult to draw and shade the skeleton part of this project, but I liked being challenged. The hardest part of this project was doing Simba's eyes, it was so hard to get them just the right size and width apart. But with a little guidence from Mr. Puffpaff I was able to get them pretty close to perfect! If I could change one thing about this project, I'd probably go back and do more shading on the skeleton part to make it look more like real-life. But overall, this was by far my favorite project this whole year!
